Last weekend while driving through Scarborough we saw that the Stop signs had been modified somewhat. This was the first one that we saw:
Naturally we then had to stop and check out all the others. Not all had and some were just bizarre – “Stop for snails”.
We need more of these around.

There is a pretty cool sign modification Flickr group with loads more examples like this. I have always loved them and I really love the way that they start popping up with especially political commentary at certain times. Kind of like a poor man’s propaganda machine. Very interesting social connotations associated with sign modifications relating to the environment
