Great 27 Dinner last night at the Wild Fig.  Loads of interesting people interspersed with some cool talks, meaning we got home way too late for a school night.

Highlights included: Marlon Parker and “The King“; Stormhoek Big Love; Justin Hartman, both his Afrigator talk and some photo’s that I took and promised I wouldn’t blog about; Eran Eyal doing Springleap Pecha Kucha style and Catherine singing happy birthday to Bev.

Was good to see a strong Jo’burg contingent, both those who came to their senses, and those who have yet to.

Table conversations with @wendyrobb, @SamWilson1, @lukehardiman, @cluckhoff, @feistyfemale and @MorganBehr ranged from the sublime to the ridiculous.

Highly recommended.

[UPDATE] In an effort to save time and the embarrassment of not remembering everybody from last night, I tried to create some rough categories around which I could write this post.  My failure to mention everybody that I spoke to during the course of the evening has now been highlighted by the intelligent, immensely famous, and some might say, handsome Eric Edelstein.  My humblest apologies.  In a room of close on 100 people, Eric, resplendant in a stylish t-shirt, was kind enough to take out some time to speak with me.  I will remember that night for as long as I live.
