Today Tyler Reed launched MobilePress – a WordPress plugin that renders your WordPress site for mobile browsers. On first impressions it is a fine piece of work, worked perfectly out of the box. What I really like about it is that you can choose whether to render specifically for web clients like Safari on iPhone or Opera, which already do a damn good job on their own. Seeing the results though, I much prefer the MobilePress rendering of my blog on the iPhone!

Awesome, awesome work guys!

Very cool work!
This one’s going on my “must have” WP plugins list
Allan, thanks for the fastest and coolest review. I am glad you like our default iPhone theme, it was a last minute thing, the one we meant to launch with looks like it’s native to the iPhone. It will come in the next release, but this will still remain our default iPhone theme.
@justBcoz Yay, thanks a million!
@justBcoz: so what else makes your “must have” list?
@TylerReed: looking forward to the updates!
Automatic Upgrade fo’ sho’ !!
Downloaded and installed about 10 minutes after reading about it on this fine blog and elsewhere. Great work Younique people!
@Paul thanks a lot
Installed but the page has no content on mobile devices. When I try to change the theme, I have the message Please upload a theme to your mobilepress themes directory! Where can I download those themes ?
This is a must have WP plugin.
I can confirm it also works with WP 2.7
If you have a blog about mobile – you need this plugin!

> The Mobile Advertising Blog
I got to know about this plugin few days back and I installed it on my blog. The plugin works great. Though the downside is due to adsense or any advertisement code , it make your blog look ugly in mobile. If you are not using any adsense code around your blog posts. This plugin will be very handy to get an extra edge from mobile internet users.
I’ve used that in my blog.. But is there any custom theme available?
It helped my blog a lot. Bad luck of me couldnt find a theme for it. :’(
