A while ago I decided that I didn’t want to keep maintaining my mess of a website and figured I’d convert it over to be a mashup of feeds from other hosted services. I’m a firm believer that something must do one thing, and do it well, which is why I don’t (usually) use my phone to take photo’s or listen to music. Canon and Apple have those bases covered very nicely, thank you.

So I moved the blog here and my photo’s to flickr, but I hadn’t considered what to do about the couple of programs I’d written over the years. So this afternoon I decided to hunt about and see if there was anything similar to Sourceforge and discovered the Google Code Project. Gmail does a good job of collecting and handling all my non-essential email and Google Reader is doing a great job of keeping me up late at nights, so why not let Google do some more work for me?

I’ve moved my Random Codes program and PHP Debug socket server there, so lets see how that goes.

Now all I have to do is create the actual mashup page. The phrase “cobblers children” springs to mind.
